Your Mobile Patients are Waiting, How Will You Reach Them?
A study on mobile app usage was recently conducted by comScore, Alexa, and Flurry Analytics and featured on Silicon Alley Insider’s Chart of the Day. Since the study began in June 2010, Flurry’s mobile analytics shows time spent in mobile apps nearly doubled over the following 12 month period, and surpassed time spent on the web in June 2011.

This study further validates the need for a mobile website because your patients are spending more and more time on their mobile devices. As mobile becomes increasingly relevant, users will demand a better viewing experience, simply dismissing websites lacking a mobile version.
Imagine our most basic search habits for a moment. When turning to the internet for answers, we all want them fast, and want to be able to find what we’re looking for without much work. If a website takes too long to load, doesn’t load correctly, or requires a great deal of scrolling and searching, we’re probably going to leave and look for another site that doesn’t require so much work. The same is true for mobile users: when searching from our mobile devices, we don’t want to drag, pinch, and zoom. We want the info and we want it fast.
