Filled with Gratitude for Thanksgiving 2023

Although it’s still warm here in beautiful San Diego, fall is well under way, and we’re looking forward to Thanksgiving in a couple days! To celebrate this holiday of gratitude, our team is sharing some of the many things we’re thankful for in 2023. From good food and fun plans to the people and pets that make every day better, take a look at what we’re especially grateful for this year:

Keith: “I am very thankful to have a wonderful family, friends, and coworkers. I am looking forward to celebrating all the good things in life on Turkey Day! Here’s to a healthy and prosperous 2024!”

Brandon: “Grateful for my growing family. :)”

Kristin: “I’m so thankful for so many things this year!

Karishma:There is so much to be thankful for this year! I am so thankful for the health of my family and friends. I am thankful for another Thanksgiving I get to share with my family and lots of yummy foods. I am thankful for the leaves changing color, outdoor walks, and all the holiday treats!”

Megan: “I continue to be thankful for all of the simple things that bring joy to my life — cats, sunshine, bubble water, and my husband of course. I’m blessed with amazing family and friends and excited to see what the new year brings us!”

Erin: “This year, I’m so thankful for good health that makes it possible to move our bodies and make memories; the adaptability that allows us to follow new curiosities and opportunities; being alive in such a connected, modern world where it’s easy to feel close to each other; family, friends, the kindness of strangers, and Spanish wine. 💛”

Cara: “This year, I’m thankful for all the time that I get to spend with my family and friends!”

Paul: “I give thanks for food in a world where many go hungry, for friendships in a world where many are lonely, and freedom and liberty in a world where so many are suppressed. I am thankful for my 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Finally, I am thankful for being part of a great organization like Rosemont Media and for the new friendships I have made over the past few years.”

Natalie: “I’m so thankful for my wife, family, friends, my dogs, and my wonderful coworkers! I am also grateful for the traveling and experiences I have been able to do this year. As for Thanksgiving, bring on the dinner rolls!”

Renny: “I am so thankful for my family: my amazing sisters who I can talk to about anything, my mom who is my biggest advocate no matter what, and my dad who reminds me what’s important without even trying. I am also thankful ski season is here!!”

Julia: “I’m so thankful for my family and all the dogs in my life. I’m also thankful to be living in San Diego with great friends.”

John: “In the year 2023 I’m most thankful for:

  1. Air fryers: everything is a little better crispy on the reheat right? I’m looking at you, ovens, toasters, and toaster ovens. Where the hell have you been all my life?
  2. YouTube TV….even though you are owned by my arch nemesis “El Goog,” I appreciate college football quad boxes & 4k content with limited commercial interruptions. Now take your zillion$ in ad/subscription revenue & buy out all the rest of the streaming services already. Savages.
  3. Homestyle Hawaiian is wayyyy better than Chamorro Grill. I was living a lie in 2022. There’s a new king in town.
  4. The fact that the New England Patriots are currently the laughing stock of the entire NFL generally has made my entire fall a rather joyous one. In fact, I haven’t heard a peep out of these ordinarily belligerent creatures in about 3 years. Silence is perfection.
  5. The Miami Dolphins are FAST….(and good…maybe…TBD…)
  6. Genuinely thankful for having a superstar of a wife who pushes me every day to be the best version of myself that I can possibly be. Grateful for the house that we live in and for the white beasts who run around within its walls, constantly protecting us from all of that dangerous external stimuli.
  7. Lastly, I was actually able to re-connect with all of my family back in Maine recently which doesn’t happen every year. Not the happiest of circumstances per se, but it’s important to seek out the ones you love and the ones who love you. Cheers!”

Chris: “I have so much to be thankful for personally, and I can’t wait for some mashed potatoes, but professionally I am very thankful for the team we have at RM. That includes our entire team of course, but I’m especially thankful for the consulting team we have. Our industry is demanding, everchanging, and highly competitive, yet they step up day after day, month after month, year after year. They continually provide the highest level of customer service, exceed expectations, and keep achieving the goals set.”

Christina: “This year I’m thankful for the ability to travel, go to conferences, hockey games, and concerts again, martial arts, dogs, the continued opportunity to fundraise for organizations like Tap Cancer Out, and of course, my friends, mentors, and students. Cheers to 2024!”

Jordyn:

Gigi: “I am thankful for my family, friends, and dogs!”

Marissa: “2023 has been a difficult year, so this Thanksgiving, I am grateful for the chance to regroup with my loved ones and celebrate the peace we’ve carved out within the chaos. I am told there will also be pie involved, which is always a plus.”

Joel: “Family that gets along and having holidays that are drama-free(!), friends that still stay in touch with life getting busier and busier, and my wife and daughter who bring me happiness every day.”

Victoria: “I am grateful for my health and being able to wake up every morning and enjoy each beautiful day, appreciating what’s around me, even the little things like smelling a flower or noticing new life in the garden. I’m thankful for a supportive husband and son who make me smile and laugh every day.  I’m also thankful that I have a job and get to work from home.”

Carlos: “I am thankful for my awesome family and friends, our good health to enjoy life, living in sunny San Diego, and being a part of the best team.”

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Rosemont Media! May your pants be stretchy, your health be robust, and your relatives be well-behaved.
